South Park City is a remarkable restoration of these early boom towns, preserving the history of our nation’s frontier while it educates and entertains the present. The restored buildings contain period room settings and exhibits illustrating the professions, trades and industries that contributed to life in a nineteenth century Colorado mining town.
Burro Days (Get Your Ass Over the Pass, as the local's callit) Always held during the last weekend in July, the 60th Annual Burro Days will take place on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, 2008.
American Safari Ranch - Guided Trail rides on our spectacular, historic, 3500 acre ranch, nestled in South Park at over 9,600 feet above sea level. South Park was the legendary hunting grounds of the Ute Indians.
